Trinity, Florida – A Florida man has been arrested by Pasco County Sheriff Deputies after he impersonated a police officer to score a discount on Dunkin’ Donuts. The man can be seen in this video driving through the Dunkin’ Donuts drive-thru, where he allegedly demanded discounted donuts after identifying himself as a law enforcement officer.
Police details the clerk did not believe the man, refusing to honor his request. The man then allegedly pulled out a gun, brandishing it as he yelled ‘See, I’m a cop!”
With a taste for donuts still in his mouth, the man allegedly returned the next day and tried to pull the scheme again. This time, a store manager waited and took down the man’s license plate tag. Cops then set-up a surveillance sting operation, which captured the man — identified as Charles Barry — on camera as he tried to pull the scheme once more. This time, however, law enforcement pulled him over as he left the donut shop.
Officers found a law enforcement badge in the Florida man’s wallet and also found a .38 caliber gun on his person.
