[adsense]LITTLE CHUTE, Wis. – This time of year is monumental for many high school students and their parents, as college acceptance letters start rolling in. The family of 18-year-old Noah VanVooren captured their special moment on camera.
VanVooren is a teen with Down syndrome. On camera he responds after learning he has been accepted into Edgewood College, a college in Madison, Wisconsin.
18-years-ago, Noah’s parents report they were told their child would never ‘walk, talk or do anything’. Now the young man has achieved continued success and will go through the college’s Cutting Edge program, which started in 2007 and has seen 32 dedicated students graduate.
This story is an excellent example of one life truth: all things are possible and never let anyone tell you what you can’t do. Noah’s inspirational story is wonderful and this young man is full of life.
