Neil DeGrasse Tyson went over the line when he claimed Christians are ‘delusional little children who believe the universe is only 6,000 years old’.
Simply put, Neil DeGrasse Tyson played with creationist’s emotions is his latest episode of Cosmos.
The episode was titled ‘Sky Full of Ghosts’ and Tyson claimed that the Crab Nebula disproved the Bible.
“The Crab Nebula proves that Christians are delusional little children who are blind to the cosmic reality of space-time. If the universe were only 6,500 years old, how could we see light from anything more distant that the Crab Nebula? The Christian fools don’t realize we couldn’t.”
Tyson continued his offensive tirade, “To believe in a universe as young as 6,000 or 7,000 years old is to extinguish the light from most of the galaxy, not to mention the light from all the other hundred billion other galaxies in the observable universe.”
If that wasn’t bad enough, he used the nebula to say the Christian universe is ‘obscenely puny and small’ compared with the cosmic scale of astrophysicist’s cosmos.
Neil DeGrasse Tyson once claimed Cosmos was supposed to unite science with its creator, God, but now we can see Tyson is simply teaching pieces of Atheist Dogma one by one.
Last month we all loudly complained that Cosmos was not putting enough Christianity in the episodes and this is how this Tyson responds.
